What should we do regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus)?
I'm just wondering that given us having RA and a compromised immune system are there any special precautions we should take?

Thank you so much. I think that this information and possibly a write up about this should be posted on the site. I'm sure I'm not the only person with RA inquiring about this. The media is really scaring me and my family. Especially since this virus seems to have the most impact on people in the 50-55 age group.
So my cardiologist suggested the Pfizer vaccine as it ,according to current medical literature, has the bet protection rate. She stated that the Moderna is less effective and the 1 shot vaccine should not be used for immuno compromised persons as it has shown the lowest level of protection. Was also informed that it is concieveable that someone could still get COVID after the vaccine , but it would be a much milder case than if you were not vaccinated. Please check with your Drs before proceeding!
