Hi 2bf0e1t, and thank you for your question. I am sorry you are experiencing a locked up joint. If you haven’t already, please notify your doctor of this issue as soon as possible. I can tell you that quite a few of our members have shared their personal experiences with frozen joints, be it shoulders, knees, or fingers and toes. And while I cannot offer advice or diagnosis, for your safety, I know that each person has had a different outcome with their specific joint problems. Some do regain full movement in the joint. Some do not. And some have some movement, but not as much as before the locking episode. Here is a personal story from one of our contributors on the subject — https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/living/not-measuring-up/. In addition to any community feedback you may receive, if you type “frozen” into the search box at the top, right hand of this page (look for the magnifying glass icon), you will find a number of stories about locked up joints (along with lots of cooking tips using frozen food, but I know you may not be needing those!). I hope this information helps. Please feel free to come back and update us on your situation, as it’s always good to hear from our members. Good luck! Best, Erin, RheumatoidArthritis.net Team Member.
