Can RA be cured?

    There is no cure, so far, for RA. There are drugs available now that may slow or even halt the progression of the disease in some patients. Other drugs can be helpful in treating symptoms.

    Unfortunately, there is no known cure for RA. It is a progressive autoimmune disease that may result in ongoing inflammation and damage if it is not treated and managed. Treatment usually involves a combination of medications and management may include appropriate exercise, managing diet, rest, and other techniques. Learn more about treatment options here:
