On the first day of Christmas my RA gave to me… a swollen and painful knee

On the second day of Christmas my RA gave to me two compression gloves

and a swollen and painful knee

On the fourth day of Christmas my RA gave to me four thousand copays

three hours of crying

On the fifth day of Christmas my RA gave to me five new side effects

four thousand copays
three hours of crying

On the sixth day of Christmas my RA gave to me six new medications

five new side effects
four thousand copays
three hours of crying
two compression gloves
and a swollen and painful knee

On the seventh day of Christmas my RA gave to me seven aching toes

six new medications
five new side effects
four thousand copays
three hours of crying
two compression gloves
and a swollen and painful knee

On the eighth day of Christmas my RA gave to me eight more appointments

seven aching toes
six new medications
five new side effects
four thousand copays
three hours of crying
two compression gloves
and a swollen and painful knee

On the ninth day of Christmas my RA gave to me nine hours of sleeping

eight more appointments
seven aching toes
six new medications
five new side effects
four thousand copays
three hours of crying

On the tenth day of Christmas my RA gave to me ten fingers hurting

nine hours of sleeping
eight more appointments
seven aching toes

On the eleventh day of Christmas my RA gave to me eleven kinds of pain meds

ten fingers hurting
nine hours of sleeping
eight more appointments

On the twelfth day of Christmas my RA gave to me twelve days of steroids

eleven kinds of pain meds
ten fingers hurting
nine hours of sleeping

three hours of crying

and a swollen and painful knee
