My life Mary VB

I have had RA since I was about 16 but it took the Doctor's about 4 years to confirm it with consistent testing. These tests also confirmed I have lupus. I have had over 30 surgeries because of this disease, both hips and both knees have been replaced as well as several fingers and toes. I've even had to have my wrists and neck fused because there were no bones with stability. I worked as a nurse for 5 years but the RA made it very difficult to continue, so I've been a homemaker for the last 20 years. This disease is not a very nice thing to have and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I do the best I can with what I have and I am grateful for the loving support of my family.
