High c reactive protein and Low Vitamin D

Good evening!I am a 50 yo female and my doctor suspects I may have RA due to fever, muscle ache, IBS and other symptoms. My blood test came back with high c reactive protein and low vitamin D. Are these an indication of RA?
I am frightened because I am a colon cancer and a breast cancer survivor. Thank you for reading this and best wishes to all.

  1. Hello SandJetty ~

I'm sorry to hear that you have been struggling recently, especially after you have already survived so much! Unfortunately, there isn't a single test that can definitely diagnose RA. Instead, an RA diagnosis is made from a combination of blood tests, x-rays, physical symptoms, and medical history. So the best thing that you can do right now is continue working with your doctor and perhaps get in to see a rheumatologist if you have not already done so.

In the meantime, here is an article with some additional information about diagnosing RA that I thought you might find interesting: https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/diagnosis/

Best of luck and please remember that we are here to support you!

    1. Hi,I recently got my blood test done.Below are my results

My RF factor is 27,CCP is negative, ana is negative,ESR is negative.
      Vitamin b12 high.
I gave birth to beautiful baby girl last year in January.I am consistently facing knee pain and body pain since then.

I have no swelling and stiffness.I was taking a drug caleat KD plus for calcium. It has 1500 microgram of vitamin b12 also.

It seems like high vitamin b12 is because of tablet.Does that also affect Ra factor or do I really have ra or like it is start.
