It’s a #SelfCareAware Soiree!

Hello RA Community Members!

As you know, the RheumatoidArthritis.net community supports one another in staying healthy and comforting one another when things go awry. Part of coping and staying healthy is engaging in regular self-care. What’s self-care, you ask? Self-care is all about looking after and taking care of yourself - in a healthy way.

It can be hard to put yourself first and attend to your own needs - and so we want to help support you. That’s why we’re taking the rest of the month to celebrate being #SelfCareAware and sharing ideas and tips on how you can do it.

We'd also love to hear from you:
What do you do on a regular basis to practice self-care? Share by replying below!

  1. Thank you for sharing, dayslikethese! Best, Erin, RheumatoidArthritis.net Team Member.

    1. I take a quick review of how I am feeling first thing in the morning and take note of the areas of concern and try not to push these joints to hard before they get warmed up.

      1. Thanks Eebtool for sharing what works for you and we are glad to see that works for you too, dayslikethese.

Thanks for supporting each other. We are glad to have you both here!

        Best,
        Lauren (RheumatoidArthritis.net Team Member)

    2. Reminding myself that sometimes I can't do everything 100%. You have to be okay with "good enough"

      1. I feel we must do better than "good enough" more like "OK, today was a battle, but tomorrow is a new day so hold on tight, here I come!"
