Your comments on managing the pain are very helpful. I have my first appointment with a rheumatologist in early October, so have not yet been officially diagnosed, but feel sure that I have RA and have been searching for how to manage symptoms without using meds except when necessary. I’m already doing several things you suggested, and you answered questions concerning braces and compression gloves, etc. Thank you. I’m 71 years old and suspect I began having RA problems in my feet close to 20 years ago. I’m now seeing RA symptoms in my hands and other joints, and am managing fairly well, but fear getting on heavy meds and fear further destruction to my body if RA is left to its own devices. The community sharing is very helpful. Thank you.
