A quick rheumatologist appointment
After PCP visits, lots of blood drawn and RA factors showing, my PCP hooked me up with a former colleague who was able to see me in two weeks! He’s a wonderful rheumatologist.
Started leflunomide in April and when that wasn’t working, fought with the insurance company to get me on a biologic - Simponi Aria.
I’m 75 with severe emphysema, neuropathy, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis. I’m happy to say that on the Simponi, my RA is the least of my worries.
