14.3.3 protein

Apparently I have this. Does anyone else? What did your Doctor say to you about it? Thank you

  1. We appreciate your question! 14.3.3 protein is used as a maker to detect signs of RA and other inflammatory mediators that are critical to joint erosion. Depending on your results, it will express how aggressive your RA is. Were you tested recently? Best, Latoya (Team Member)

    1. Yes he said the results were very bad. He said he only has 3 patients in his entire practice with this bad of numbers. And nothing is working I seem to be getting worse I just don’t know what else to do.

      1. My heart goes out to you, . How many different medications have to tried? It can take a lot of patience and trial and error to find the one that is most effective for you. Here is an article that discusses all the different types of treatments: https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/treatment/drugs-and-prescription-medications-for-ra. You can click on the links in the article for more information on each. It might be worthwhile to read through all of it and make sure you have tried everything possible. It just takes one to turn things around. Have you been diagnosed for long? Thinking of you and sending the very best of wishes your way. - Lori (Team Member)

    2. Thank you! I will read that. I am on my third immunosuppressant and tried many pills before like methotrexate and so on.

      1. I hope this third medication is the one, . Gentle hugs. - Lori (Team Member)
