Can anyone recommend a good pen?

Hi all, I have arthritis in my fingers and thumbs (among many other places) and struggle to write more than a couple of sentences at a time. I've just started a course through church which includes a workbook but I'm finding it painful. My thumb is the worst joint and have looked at arthritis pens and wonder if anyone has tried any? I'm thinking of either an easy start roller ball or are the rubber grips you can use on any pen better. Thanks in advance

  1. I don't have a pen but what I have used before are those rubber things that you put the pen through. It's like a big rubber grip that helps to make the pen itself bigger and easier to grasp. Usually you can get them in multi packs on Amazon or something similar and they last forever. (see image) It might be worth trying if you haven't already. They do make pens specifically for people who have hand issues but they usually slot onto the fingers and take some learning to get used to and to use well. Let us know if you need more help! Keep on keepin' on, DPM

    1. Thanks will give them a go, probably cheaper too

      1. Hi, ! I just wanted to chime in and offer another suggestion. There is a pen called the STABILO Ergonomic Rollerball EASYoriginal. I included a photo and link below. It might be worth trying both options to see which works best for you.
