Fatigue Impacted by Low Testosterone Levels for Both Men and Women with RA

Low Testosterone is a known cause of fatigue in both men and women. Turns out there is quite a bit of research finding that those with RA are significantly more likely to have lower testosterone and dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAs) levels, such as here: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC5942571/.

My wife, Kelly Mack (a contributor here), just had hers checked and it came in at 3 ng/dl. She asked the doctor if it was just regular low or super low, such that her RA could be a cause. She was told it was pretty much absurdly low and started on a DHEA prescription.

Has anyone had their doctor test for or even mention testosterone levels? If so, what has your experience been?
