Has anyone used Orencia
I have been on Humira for the past eight years. At first with methotrexate which made me sick all of the time. Then they went to Humira with Arava but my hair started falling out in patches due to the arave. Now they took me completely off Humira and Arava and put me on Orencia. Only problem is I also have COPD with RA nodules in my lungs which ha gotten worse with the Orencia. I am now on oxygen at night. I am wondering if anyone else here has experienced anything similar and how it was handled. I need the RA meds, I know, but however I wish there was something out there without all of the side effects.

It can be so complicated to manage multiple conditions at the same time. If at all possible, I would encourage you to have your rheumatologist speak with the doctor who is treating your COPD so that they can determine the best course of treatment together. There are still lots of options for treating RA - and your doctors would be best able to tell you which are the best options for you! Hang in there and remember that we are here to support you!
