Hip abductor tear(bursitis) i guess

Hey team..anyone had hip abductor tear related to RA. Ortho is having me get MRI. I think its bursitis..I'm so nervous between job issues. House and work lots going on. My boss said...Hey your looking good...UGHHHH Wtheck I'm walking with a cane for months..guess her definition is different yo mine. Thsnks for your help. Wishing you a good today and better tomorrow.

  1. Never had a tear but I have had my hips both replaced before the age of 18 due to bone-on-bone pain. Walked with a walker and then cane for months, and you never know what people are going to say. I think they just don't know WHAT to say and rather than say nothing, they say whatever comes to mind. 😀 Thanks for your kind wishes to our community and the same right back to you! Keep on keepin' on, DPM

    1. i had totally on both in 2016/17 Rt. & Lt. Now this possible hip abductor tear. Dr is ordering Sonogram of both. Tight seems worse. UGHHHH..thanks for Dearing. My feeling, can't anything positive or productive or either empathy, say nothing and keep er moving. Wishing you a good today and a better tomorrow

  2. Hi . Glad you are getting your hip checked out. RA can cause all kinds of connective tissue issues. An MRI should help quite a bit with figuring it out. Another item that pops into mind is the labrum. Hoping you get some answers and relief soon. Best, Richard (RheumatoidArthritis.net Team)

    1. Thanks. I had replacements r/l 2016/17.. been getting cortisone injections for some time. I didn't know about connective tissue issues from RA..UGHHHH. Ortho is going to do sonogram on both sides. Not happy, I won't lie, I'm nervous and anxious. Let's see what those show. Wishing you a good today and better tomorrow.
