It depends on the lab. serum values <10 IU/uL is negative. So, if your values are less than 10 that would be considered “normal”. >12.5 IU/mL is positive. Those values are for the lab I work in. RF is present 70-90% of RA patients. If RF is positive and the patient has arthritis in 3 or more joints then the patient is said to have RA. Especially with a corresponding positive CCP test. Thanks for replying, my ccp was 3 units, my rf iga is 5 units, rf iGg is 6 units, and igm is 6 units...I don't know if that's good or bad..waiting to hear from ortho doc...
