Rheum!

I've had RA for a few years now, oth my older sister and my mum also have it. I have been on the normal metajet and tablets but am now about to go on the biological stuff, they sound quite good but are they, I will take them or any other to help get it under control again. How have others gone being on them? It's another injection!

  1. Hi . Many people use biologics to slow their RA progression with varying levels of results. For some people, biologics bring full remission. Here is an article about biologics that might help you better understand how they work and what you can expect: https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/understanding-biologics. I hope you get relief. 1. I have been on just about every biologic out there and although it took almost 20 years to find the right one, we eventually did find an obscure biologic used for something else that my doctor made me try. It ended up being the long-sought after key to my specific RA. Unfortunately I now have 20 years of damage to deal with but, hey, good news is good news! 😀 To answer your question, in my experience biologics can be a game changer but it takes a little while with trial and error to find the right one. Keep on keepin' on, DPM

      1. Thank you, sorry it took so long to find yours.
