"Hi, I just joined this site. I am 38 and started having pain in some of my fingers 10 months ago and I already guessed that I probably had RA but I was too scared to go to the doctor until last month which my RA factor and Anti CPP levels in my blood test were very high. I have always been very healthy and I can’t figure out what triggered RA in me. Now the doctor wants me to start Methotrexate right away. I am scared to start it now. It seems I will be taking it for the rest of my life. Please let me know if you have any recommendations. "
