More Anxiety!

I have read so many comments about anxiety and RA. Suffering from both—one diagnosed at 36 and years of being told my pain was unrelated to a connective tissue disorder—than being told I had Hashimoto's as did my mom and daughter—having back surgery at 40 and I knee replacement at 50.

Pulmonary embolism 5 years ago; very scary. And always have a condition called costochondritis. Which led to many trips to the ER.

Now with an RA diagnosis and reassurance my heart is ok, I still get anxious and have to struggle to convince myself I’m ok. Xanax helps. Therapy helps.

But what has helped me today is reading the stories of others who have been through the same travels and have survived. Thank you!
