Cervical pannus

After suffering from occipital headaches for a few years, my pain doctor ordered an MRI of my neck.

A Pannus on C1-C2 was discovered which sent me to my neurosurgeon who referred me to a rheumatologist. She diagnosed me with RA and started me on methotrexate. This has caused cervical instability.

Now a year later with no change or a slight increase in size of the pannus, I will be on Humira when the insurance approves.

Has anyone had experience with this RA condition?
