Mrs Nicola Bevis

I come from a family of RA sufferers.

My mum and my older sister have it. My younger sibling hasn't been diagnosed.

I was told they weren't sure I had it or not but I had food poisoning and had a very bad flare. I couldn't walk. The pain I was in was horrendous - my foot, my knee, elbow, and my thumb.

I've been on steroids for 3 months on quite a high dose but nearly off of them. I think my rheumatologist has now decided I have got it.
