RA & Fibromyalgia & Stress

Hi there,

Since I was 43 years old, I have been struggling with RA and fibromyalgia. I had no idea what I had; I simply knew that I was in agony all the time.

The impact of RA

When I was 47 1/2, I was confined to my bed and unable to get out of it. I made an attempt to go to work, but I barely made it.

When COVID struck, things got worse till I had surgery in November 21st. That was really helpful, but I had to mentally, emotionally, and physically become ready. I went through a lot, but I had to get ready for knee surgery when I was 49.

I went through my first knee replacement in October 2022 after eating lentils for three months; many stated I looked like a 70-year-old guy.

A second knee surgery

My left knee was operated at the beginning of May, but I did not follow the same diet as I did for my first knee, so it has been difficult.

My spouse was bedridden on June 10 following a lower back injection, and I have not yet recovered.

I was a pastor at the time and worked three jobs. I used to cry every day because I was so miserable and had bad mental health.

I thought I was losing my mind. I want to quit my job because, at fifty, I simply do not feel like myself anymore. I do not sleep, and my mind is constantly racing.
