   <p>I am sorry you are hurting and just totally &#39;over&#39; dealing with RA, <inline-mention username="AdiciaMc" user-id="4167069"/> ! I feel like almost every community member here can relate to your post. Have you mentioned your jaw pain to your physician? RA can definitely cause jaw pain, but it&#39;s important to have your pain noted in your medical records and maybe even see your physician, just to be safe. I am going to ask some questions that you are under no obligation to answer here. Are you seeing a therapist or counselor for your depression? Do you have some self care practices to help you when you are feeling down? Have you mentioned your depression to your physician? I don&#39;t need to know the answers to these questions (although you are always welcome to share), but it&#39;s something for you to think about as you try to protect your mental health. <br/><br/><br/>Please know you are definitely NOT alone when it comes to dealing with episodes of depression. Living with RA is TOUGH. Dealing with chronic pain is TOUGH.    <p><br/>I will respond as a way to answer Erin:<br/><br/><br/>Jaw pain is very real for people with RA - here is a nice summary article from the journal of Rheumatology. <br/><br/><br/>https://www.jrheum.org/content/32/12/2421.short <br/><br/><br/>This may be helpful.<br/><br/><br/>As for depression I have been treatment for over 20 years. As Erin said having depression has suggested having depression runs with all chronic illness but any chronic illness associated with pain is makes us especially difficult. <br/><br/><br/>hope that helps.<br/>rick <br/></p>

   <p>I have been where you are, and it is certainly frustrating. It&#39;s like you are trapped in your own body as a prison and you can&#39;t escape it no matter what. It can easily make you feel like you are at the end of your rope, and all I can say is that tomorrow may be different. Better?    <p>Good morning 😊.... And I thank you all for your support yes I am seeing a RHEUMATOLOGIST and yes she knows about the new pain the unbearable pain my daughter 😢 💔 😞 had to drive me to the doctor she ask for a medical Marijuana script as if I couldn&#39;t ask myself she said my moaning makes her cry 😢 I heard someone say eyes I said oh no because I have had painful feeling like pin sticking me in my eyes for the last months maybe 3 to 4 months just didn&#39;t know what that was but ask for as for the script my doctor do not have a license when I tell you the things right now I can&#39;t even think because of the pain flaring up it last about 15 to 20 minutes and linger about 45 seconds my entire body hurt. I feel I am to young for this not to say the rest of us not because when I read 20 yrs in 10 yrs in and to believe this just my first yr and I am only 56yrs and I was in good health last year working 💪 😊 smiling dancing 💃 dating 😉 now I am hiding in the house in pain and yes I told my doctor I need to talk to someone not directly that I am depressed but darn she should be able to look at me now from when she first saw me and now this lady is not herself I cry out to the LORD I know thats is the only reason I am still here today I call myself theloneranger thanks everyone I hope to one day get my full life back ❤ 💕 </p>

Even with what you&#39;re going through you continue to keep hope to get your life back to the way you want. I&#39;m sorry that you&#39;re dealing with the pain right now it really can be so hard sometimes to experience it - and especially if people around don&#39;t fully understand. In addition to the physical pain, the mental side is tough too (and not always addressed as publically) - but if you are looking for mental health resources I am happy to share articles that could help, as well.    <p>I have been on methotrexate and hydroxychloriquine for 3 years now and they are useless. When i asked about infusions my doctor said they are expensive and Kaiser doesnt do that. What the hell??</p>

      <p><inline-mention username="NdeChantal" user-id="4181346"/><br/> I do not Kaiser insurance, but i suspect there may be options for self injected RA medications and perhaps some infused medications. <br/><br/><br/>I hope you will ask once again. <br/>rick <br/></p>
