Seronegative Diagnosis

I had RA as a teen. It went into remission when I moved to CA. About 2 years after my daughter was born, my left hand swelled up. Since my dr already knew of my adolescent RA, he did blood tests. Came back positive. Tried many meds and biologics until Cimzia. It seemed to work.

My rheumatologist retired. Went to another he recommended. That dr took me off everything because the blood tests did not show RA. Said it was just fibro acting up. He retired 2 years later. Took me a while to find another rheumatologist. She tested me and turns out I’m seronegative. Because of COVID-19, I can’t get treatment. I’ve been miserable.
