RA not osteo

I'm 44 and had already been seeing more doctors than I wanted to for bad lungs and allergies, when I asked for a rheumatology referral for the "osteoarthritis" I've had in my back and hands that suddenly seemed to be affecting my knees, ankles, feet and wrists too (add elbows and neck to that list). I was surprised when she said inflammatory arthritis and now RA instead.
