Phantom Fevers
After reading stories concerning phantom fevers, I wanted to share my own. This was one of the symptoms I had regularly for a year or two before being diagnosed with R.A. Presently I am on the biologic adalimumab, and I suspect I am picking up everything going!!
Dealing with sickness
Recently I have developed a cough and have felt unwell with it. I saw my doctor who prescribed antibiotics and steroids due to me wheezing etc. Yes, biologics do help with RA but there is an increased risk of infection. I am a devoted grandmother, which makes it difficult to avoid infections from children.
