How and When Did My Rheumatoid Arthritis Symptoms Start

Hip and knee replacements

In 2001 at the age of 54 my knee started bothering me. Three years later I had a rt knee replacement. Recovery was very slow and at times my knee still hurts. In 2004 I had lt knee replacement; same problems. In 2007 I had a rt hip replacement. At the present age of 74 my left hip bothers me occasionally.

I believe that in 2008 my doctor ordered a bone marrow biopsy done because I was having inflammation issues and numerous white blood cells. This is when I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.
