Delays

Hi, so I had been waiting for my rheumatologist appointment on September 17th because I was to get the go ahead to start Simponi. Well, the day before my virtual appointment I get a call from the rheumys receptionist that my appointment has been cancelled and information sent to my family Doctor and to contact him. I had no info or idea why this would've happened and when I spoke with family Dr. he had not received any info regarding me. My name on something and the information was for another patient. We were both confused about this.

Trying to get answers & continuing to wait

On September 22nd I wrote an email to my rheumatologist and the RN I see. It was more like a letter with a number of paragraphs to it. With questions, why's, and updates on a hives break out I had in August.

Last Friday October 2nd I received a reply from the receptionist that she has forwarded my message to Ocean my RN. It took 10 days.

My appointment is finally scheduled

Yesterday Monday October 5th I received a call from Ocean my RN and she patched in my Rheumatologist. Well, he profusely apologized to me numerous times, there was a mix up, and they would set up a virtual appointment this week. He also said they would contact the company to get my Simponi ordered again as they had cancelled it, and somehow to get me to have an injection of it this week.

My virtual appointment is tomorrow morning and I will find out when I start Simponi.

Hope that the new medication helps

It has been a crazy mixed up few weeks. I sure hope Simponi helps me. I am hurting bad, in a flare of pain, fatigue and malaise and fog.

Blessings,
Casmere
