Will humira help???
I was diagnosed 9 months ago at the age of 46, but have had this pain since my early 30's. My rheumy started me on methotrexate pills to start with horrible gastrointestinal side effects. Switched to injectable form with 5 mg of folic acid. She wasn't happy with my progress and neither was I. Still having flares and extreme fatigue. It seems every joint hurts!!! She is starting me on Humira. My hope is that I can take it without methotrexate!! Is there anyone out there who takes just a biologic and that's all?? I'm hoping to get a little more energy and a little more of my life back!!
