One painful year later....

At age 65, my functional med NP ran all the tests about a month following carpal tunnel surgery. I was in such pain and agony at the time. Nothing showed up in the autoimmune panel. My hormones were out of whack so I received treatment for that plus a steroid for “inflammatory disease”.

A year later, he ran the tests again and my RF, anti-CCP, ESR and CRP all pointed to RA.
