Avsola
My RA doc just put me on a new drug called Avsola. Its supposed to be similar to Remicade, which put me in remission for over 3 years. I was pretty hopeful, but it didn't go well. I had an Anaphylaxis Emergency and they spent 2 hours yesterday trying to bring me out of it. It all happened so fast !!! I felt like I was having a heart attack . Has anyone else had an experience like this ? Or experience with this drug ? I believe its a newer drug.
It's a good thing you recognized what was happening and got help - anaphylaxis can be serious. For me personally, when I had a bad reaction to biologic injections it was because of the secondary ingredients and not the medicine itself. I know that can happen.
