Cracking and snapping
I am waiting to see a rheumatologist but I thought I would ask here as it might be months before I have an appointment.
Can ra cause joints and ligaments to snap and crack? I'm cracking and snapping everywhere, but the worst right now is the joints in my fingers.
It's worse when my hands heat up and swell and go very red.

HI Kate and welcome! I certainly hope you don't have to wait months for an appointment! I can tell you that the "snap, crackle, pop" phenomenon you are experiencing may potentially be an RA issue.
