Does it help your mental feel good status?

Hi GGcRA. DHEA is the acronym for dehydroepiandrosterone. It is a naturally occurring steroid. This article from our editorial team looks at it, as well as a couple of other naturally occurring chemical compounds that may be of benefit as supplements to those with RA: https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/natural-remedies/dhea-dimethyl-sulfoxide-and-methylsulfonylmethane/. Among other things, it has been found to be an effective secondary treatment for depression. As with any potential addition to a treatment regimen, it should be discussed with a doctor before hand. Hope this information helps. Best, Richard (RheumatoidArthritis.net Team)
