Diet

I was preparing to sell my 1980 Camaro because of my RA. I woke up yesterday torn about that decision. I saw a YouTube video about diet and RA. It resonated with me that my diet was garbage. Sweets and fried foods WERE my go to's. I felt better day one on my new eating regime and I'm keeping the Camaro. If I had began the long dark road giving up on my body--what would be next? A wheelchair? I'm not downing anyone who uses one, but the battle has begun for me. I'd given up. Now I'm a warrior.

  1. , You bring up a difficult topic: giving something up because of RA. I imagine that just getting in and out of the Camaro was becoming more difficult. It's great that you've seen such rapid improvement with a change in food choices. You definitely are a warrior. Thank you for sharing! Best wishes, Lisa, RA team member

    1. , I am glad you were able to keep your Camaro! And I am so glad dietary changes have helped your RA so much! I know some of our members have found that changing their diet makes a big difference in their RA symptoms. I am glad that's been the case for you.

      1. what diet did you start? Would love to try it!

        1. I cut out dairy, red meat, green peppers, potatoes, tomatoes, sweets. Added celery, fruits, almond milk, turkey, chicken. I've lost weight.
