Does anyone else get tingling sensation on your thumbs/hand

Hi . Have you had a chance to bring this issue to the attention of your doctor? Hydroxychloroquine can potentially cause muscle and nerve problems (see: https://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supplements/hydroxychloroquine-oral-route/description/drg-20064216), but it is not common and is more likely to manifest as muscle weakness. RA can itself cause neuropathy and the most common is carpal tunnel, which matches what you describe. Wren also notes that some other medications, such as anti-TNF biologics and leflunomide may put one at risk of neuropathy.
