Feeling alone?

Anyone feeling alone dealing with RA even though you are with someone?
Even those closest to me still do not understand what it's like dealing with this daily. Been told if you don't have a solution don't want to hear it. Sometimes there is a need to just talk about it, to vent. At times I just need to have a break down but can't. I still have things that need to get done, still have to go to work. It's difficult to cope on your own. Harder when those closest to you don't want to hear anything about it.
Yes my profile picture is several years old. Even though I look okay I can assure you I was pushing through what needed to be done. Installing a French drain to keep the rain from flooding near the house and rotting the wood.
My back story goes back a number of years. It was pure luck things happened the way they did to become diagnosed with RA.

  1. Thank you for sharing your story. I know many here in our community certainly relate to feeling alone in their RA journey. It's often referred to as the invisible illness as symptoms are not always evident to others. I hope others here chime in and share their personal experiences with you. This article may be helpful to you: https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/living/we-are-not-alone. A great reminder that you are not alone in this. Wishing you relief ahead. 1. I understand what the message is. It's harder when one's that you love do not help or make it harder by not helping. I've always been very independent, able to do anything I set my mind to. Now, it's difficult to do daily chores. Yes I have good days and like most I over do it and pay for it. I don't really have a choice. Long story but not really.
Thank you for your words of encouragement. It is appreciated. One day I will overcome the difficult times better.
