  1. Thanks for sharing. Sounds like your physio wants you to pace yourself more and spread out those tasks over time instead of all at once. Fatigue is a very real symptom of RA, although not often visible to others. In addition to speaking with your doctor, this article may be helpful: https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/symptoms/fatigue-and-weakness. Wishing you some relief ahead. 1. Ugh I get ya. I have been struggling with the pacing issue for a few years. But, learning to pace yourself before your body shuts you down is key for living with RA. The things that help me are: 1. Setting actual timers for work/rest increments. When I was still working I forced myself to get out of my chair for a short walk hourly. I actually get more done when I do those two things. 2. Getting a grip on what is a realistic expectation for the day or week. Setting priorities for what truly is a must do. 3. Blocking out twice the time expected to accomplish a task and schedule recovery time/days for after. 4. Accept help for chores that don't require my unique skills! (turns out there are more of those than I realized) Jo

      1. One of the great things RA taught me was how to manage my time better so I wouldn't fall apart early in the day. Pacing yourself is everything. Taking a 15 minute power nap is energizing. And cheating with an extra cup of coffee in the afternoon can help.

        1. Hi to all,

I still will find this very hard as i have a perfectionist personality so to me everything has to be clean & in its proper place everyday its how my brain works i cant have an untidy living space has to be just so right so will take me ages to actually do this if i can at all will remain to be seen.
