Meloxicam?
Hi! I recently started Meloxicam in addition to the same 5mg daily of prednisone. Has anyone else taken this before? Just curious about effectiveness. So far, it's the first drug I've been given that works and doesn't seem to have awful side effects!

Hi Robin, meloxicam, or Mobic, is a prescription NSAID (ibuprofen is an over the counter NSAID). It's commonly prescribed for people with RA. I took it for a while and it had a great impact on pain and inflammation. But I had to stop taking it as I'm susceptible to stomach upset with NSAIDs which can be common with all NSAIDs. Hope you keep getting relief with it!
