Multiple Autoimmune Conditions

I have multiple autoimmune diseases that has caused me pain, stress and limited mobility at times. Does anyone know of any remedies to help with the pain and stress? I've also started a meat free diet and beginners yoga to help with my mobility. I RA, SLE, Type II Diabetes, Asthma, Sleep Disorders, Migraines, Epilepsy and Endometriosis. Now I am considered to have Ankylosing Spondylitis. These conditions have recked havoc on my body. I'm on many medications, some which have added weight to my small frame making it hard to get around, especially in grocery stores. The only time I get out is to doctors appointments for myself or my children or to grocery/pharmacy. Does anyone experience these bouts of inability to move around? How are your sleeping habits? What is your diet like? Looking for support!

  1. Hi . So sorry you are struggling with these various comorbidities. It is great to see that you are taking steps to try to improve your mobility and seeking a place you can get support and information. Unfortunately, comorbidities are all too common. You are not alone and many here understand. Hopefully other community members will chime in with their experiences and what has helped them. I want to share with you this article from our contributor Daniel looking at living with multiple conditions and dealing with various doctors and coordinating care: https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/living/coordinating-care-doctors. In addition, I want to let you know that we have sister-sites for many of the conditions you mentioned, such as diabetes, asthma, sleep disorders, and migraine. This page has links to all of our health communities: https://health-union.com/communities/. Please know that this community is here for you. Best, Richard (RheumatoidArthritis.net Team)
