My RA pain is not symmetrical.

Does anyone else have RA pain that is not symmetrical?
My right hand and right wrist has been in pain for years. My left toes and foot has been on and off pain for nine months. Usually my right hand and left foot hurt at the same time.
I recently got diagnosed with RA And I’m wondering if Anyone else’s pain is not symmetrical like mine?

  1. Hi there! I just joined this group. It is great! I wish I had found it sooner.

I have had RA for 40 years! It began with one swollen finger. It is not symmetrical for me. It has affected every joint by now.

    1. Well, as long as you found us eventually that's the important part!! I have had it for 30 years myself, so I get where you are coming from. It has pretty much affected every joint I have as well and even a few I didn't know were joints! Keep on keepin' on, DPM

    2. That's now mine started. Thank you for the reply.

  2. Yes, this all day! In fact, I've almost never had joints on opposites sides of the body flare at the same time, even after 30 years. If I had to guess, I'd probably say that many people with RA experience it the same way as you do, you are not alone! Keep on keepin' on, DPM

    1. Thank you for the Reply!

      1. Never was symmetrical for me either. But then, it doesn't have to be,
