Hi . Have you been diagnosed with RA or are you having these symptoms and trying to get a diagnosis? I ask because there is a type of RA called seronegative RA in which the person does not test positive for rheumatoid factor. This article from our editorial team goes into further detail: https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/seronegative-diagnosis. I also want to share with you an extensive Forum discussion along the same lines: https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/forums/bloodwork-initially-fine. Do you mind if I ask what tests you are referring to (such as ANA, CRP, SED rate...)? I can tell you that you are not alone with this issue and I'm asking these questions so that we and community members can offer the best/most accurate information and experiences. Best, Richard (RheumatoidArthritis.net Team)

Welcome to my world. I've had [ no exaggeration] about 150 blood tests since diagnosis. My ESR has NEVER been abnormal, not any other critical value. I have sero negative RA.
