Pain

I am really fed up with being in pain and feeling so tired all the time

  1. Hey -- I am so sorry you're struggling. Is the pain in any particular area? How long have you been feeling the pain? I know you mentioned feeling tired. Unfortunately that is so common with RA. It doesn't mean it makes it any easier. You may have seen this already, but if not here is our hub on RA Fatigue (https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/fatigue-tired). This has a collection of articles speaking to RA fatigue that you feel. Warmly, - Reggie, RheumatoidArthritis.net team member

    1. thank you I had a ultrasound scan and injection yesterday but unfortunately the tendons are irreparable but with some physio I am hoping to strengthen my muscles, I am feeling a lot more positive

    2. I'm so glad you're feeling more positive (although sorry to hear that the tendons are irreparable). I hope that the physio really helps and keeps you moving in a positive direction! If you're comfortable, please keep us posted with how things are going and how the physio is. Wishing you a gentle evening. -- Warmly, Christine (Team Member)

  2. Thank you 😊

    1. , I just wanted to echo Reggie. My heart hurts for you that you're in so much pain and feeling "sick and tired of being sick and tired" (as one of our advocates has put it). Please know that you are in good company here as our community members understand firsthand how challenging living with RA (and the pain and fatigue that goes with it) can be. Please know that you aren't alone, and don't hesitate to reach out any time. Sending you gentle hugs. -- Warmly, Christine (Team Member)

        1. , I hope PT makes a difference! I am sorry the tendons are beyond repair. I know that might have been pretty disheartening to hear.
