Pra in 1 not 2.

Hi all.
Hope your well.
Weather isn't great for this time of year (27 . 07 .2024), but it may get better.
Can I ask for a bit of help please.

My sister as an arthritis, she as told me the name of it but I'm hopeless & I've forgotten.
I do remember she said it locks up her body every so often & can't move. Most days she said its just crippling pain.
She's 12 yrs younger than me & I'm 52. She's not able for antibiotics / penicillin..as she's allergic to that medication.
I have no idea what she takes, she's told the parents & her partner, but anyone else she just says ...ah il be ok.. when you can see she's in pain.
She's had it for a good time now, & I've said to her ask your doctor, if this or that will help.

I got some manuka honey today from a company (website mods team, if I'm breaking a rule saying the company, please accept my apologies) the company is .. manuka doctor .. specialise in any manuka honey from low strength to very high, but it's very expensive for the best, so I only get the low end. Apparently it helps the immune system & as healing properties.
I then thought of my sister's health.
Then, I thought about blood.

I'm her brother, my immune system isn't to bad & I've no illnesses (that I no of).

Now I have no idea what I'm talking about, so please correct me & excuse my negligence of the arthritis illness.
Can I give my sister blood on a weekly or monthly time scale to help her over come the pra arthritis or even help her with pain.?
(That saying if I'm a match type.)

I just remember she saying an abbreviation like pra arthritis.

Thanks you lot
Appreciate the informative / help.

Have good day, think it's brightening up a bit out there.

Talk to you soon.
Thanks 👍

  1. Hi . First, let me say that it is great that you are looking for information and so willing to help your sister. There are numerous types of arthritis and it is important to find out what your sister is dealing with. I want to share with you this article from our editorial team on rheumatoid arthritis: https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/what-is-ra and this one on other types of arthritis: https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/types-of-arthritis. If she hasn't already, seeing a rheumatologist could be a big step in getting a diagnosis. They have additional medical training in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis and other diseases of the joints, muscles, and bones, including those that are autoimmune (such as RA). Concerning treatments, blood transfusions are not effective, but there are now quite a few options and this article gives an overview: https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/treatment. A rheumatologist should be able to provide additional information on all of this as well. Hope this information is helpful and wishing you and your sister the best. Richard (Team Member)
