Hi Joe. I have just joined this forum and I too have the same question.

and Welcome to you both. I too suffer with the hoarseness but mine is caused both by RA and Allergies. I find warm liquids give me some relief at times. Alias that is probably for the Allergy part. I did find an article here with multiple responses and other links, maybe they will be helpful, I know I will be doing some reading tonight. Hi, and welcome! I am glad you joined the community. Hoarseness with RA is not totally unusual and the article shared is a good place to start. Also, I wanted to share a snippet from on of our pieces on less common RA issues -- "RA-related joint involvement in other parts of the spine occurs infrequently. RA can, however, affect the joint of the larynx (called the cricoarytenoid joint), which is in the vicinity of the cervical spine. Cricoarytenoid involvement can result in vocal hoarseness."


So, hoarseness definitely can happen with RA, but it's important to get it checked out by your physician (if you haven't already done so), just to make sure something else isn't going on.

Yes you can keep your throat lubricated by consuming warm water with some turmeric into it gargle once a day and I would suggest you to not consume chilled or cold water have water in luke warm tempurature. also check shoptruepills Hope this helps to a good extent.
