RA and Rashes
I have a Facial Rash that is very painful. It is hive like and under my right eye. I know rashes can be symptoms of RA. I am seeing my PCP in the morning. I also got my Rheumatology appointment moved up to Aug. 8th. I am very grateful for all the support here as I need it now. As a RN, I know a lot about RA but my symptoms are Very Severe. Thank you for answering!!!

This rash under your eye sounds like it could be herpes simplex or shingles. Be very careful.
Have a comprehensive list of questions for the rheumatologist written down for your visit. Wear clothes that work well with the rheumatologist to examine every joint you have. A sports bra and bike shorts under your regular clothes can work well.
Keep us posted as to how it all goes. ❤️...It was a very bad allergic reaction. It is clearing up. Thank you, I thought it was shingles too.
I am sorry you had such a bad allergic reaction but I am rejoicing that it wasn't shingles! 🎉

I have been on methotrexate, Sulfasalazine and Hydrochloroquin...all upset my stomach. I am also seeing a GI specialist. I will do whatever I need to. This community is Amazing. I appreciate your concern.
I saw Rheumatologist on Aug 21. He plans on starting me on low dose Imuran. My RA panel was normal but CRP, Sed Rate and Uric Acid All high. I have blistering on right hand on knuckles. I see Dr. On Sept. 7th
I am curious since RA panel was normal..if he will still start Imuran.
I am very Swollen, nauseated and in pain. Very stiff All day.
