As Latoya said RA is tough. It can be incredibly overwhelming and when you feel like there is no way out and you are a prisoner in your own body it can be especially mentally taxing. I think we have all been there at some point or another, after months or weeks of pain with no end in sight and no medicine is helping and there's no relief. I think it's natural as a human being just to start to feel like "is this the way it's going to be forever?" Well if there's one thing I can tell you after 40 years of illness it's that things will change. Sometimes they change for the better and sometimes they change for the worse, but they will change. Believe it or not, paradoxically, even if they change for the worse which sounds bad, just the fact that things have changed can give you a little bit of mental relief. I know it sounds unbelievable, but it happens. It's just the way our weird human brain functions sometimes but hopefully, of course, the changes will mostly be for the better. If you need anything please reach out if there's anything else we can do, keep on keepin' on. DPM
