Reactions to meds
Has anyone experienced warts from Methotrexate and Actemera?? My Rheumatologist did not believe me. Dermatologist was the only one who believed and treated me till they disappeared. My MD didn't believe me at all. Now I gave yellowing of fingernails with Plaquenil!! She doesn't believe me again. I research drugs that I am on. RN worked 45 yrs, felt so dirty with the warts. Now she doesn't believe me again, and "allows" me to discontinue my Plaquenil. Has anyone else had these same symptoms?

I know dealing with warts and fungal issues is no fun, especially when you're already dealing with RA already! I haven't come across another community member that has dealt with warts due to medications like Actemra and Methotrexate. That said, I had to dig a bit, but it does appear that Actemra can cause fungal infections and Methotrexate can cause wart-like growths on the body. I would keep talking to your doctor more about your yellow nails. Yellow nails can occur with RA, but you want to make sure something else isn't causing the issue.
I am so sorry that your doctor doesn't listen to you and doesn't seem to take your concerns seriously. That's incredibly frustrating.
