Rheumatoid arthritis question

Hi, I have a question concerning rheumatoid arthritis. I am getting ready to start Humira injections, and I mainly deal with pain in my feet and ankles, my wrists, my fingers (feels like I have cramps in my fingers, and I have to shake it out), and it runs up my arm(s) (burning pain)into my neck and shoulders… both sides, but predominately in my left side...but it's not pain in all areas every day... sometimes I'm not bothered by one area, but it's flaring up in other areas, sometimes it's all areas period. Does rheumatoid always affect the same joints day in and day out, or is this normal, for it to sporadically affect different joints, different days?

  1. thanks for reaching out. Really great question!!! For me my RA sporadically affects different joint, different days . Quite honestly, what joints are effected can change throughout the day. It always baffles me, but know you are not alone. That being said RA does effect everyone differently. Just Keep Swimming...Lynn Marie, "RheumatoidArthritis.net Team Member"

    1. Thank you for getting back to me. This is new territory for me. I've been having issues all along with pain and inflammation but just recently diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
