Side effects to medications
I have had RA for years. When I go on a new medication in a couple months I develop severe mouth sores. They are so bad I can barely eat and have to discontinue my meds until the sores clear up. I have gone through at least 15 meds all with the same results. Has anyone else experienced this. If so did you find a medication that works. Thanks
My understanding is that mouth sores indicate the dose is too high. This is very common when MTX is prescribed and started at full dose, rather than titrating gradually upwards. thanks for the feedback
