So you get limos on the ball of your feet? I do and it's horrible. Now my toes are crossing ? 51yrs

  1. I don't get lipomas but I do get RA nodules, which are like bony hard bumps that can ache when the RA flares. I have them on my hands and feet both, and as you can imagine it makes wearing and finding comfortable shoes very difficult. I am close to your age and I had to have my right ankle turned with surgery to get it back to normal, so that's what I'm recovering from now. I feel that pain just like you do, I'm sure. You are not alone! Keep on keepin' on, DPM

    1. Daniel, I do get nodules in my hands and feet. When I get flares especially. Mia mentioned about her toes crossing, actual spasms. This happens when I sit or sleep . Not sure what causes this??

      1. Hi , thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're also dealing with similar symptoms. While I don't know exactly what causes a muscle spasm (have you been able to ask your doctor about this?), one of our advocates also wrote about how her muscles can be impacted with RA, and what she finds helpful, https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/living/muscle-cramps-tips. Also, one of our community members wrote about having the experience of a muscle spasm in his leg that you might be interested in, https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/stories/tenosynovitis. I hope that can help give you some insights. Wishing you a gentle day! -- Warmly, Christine (Team Member)
