steering wheel tips

can i get feedback on how to fix my steering wheel.

i got a foam cover didn't work. ot said to get 3/4 inch pipe insulation cut and put over the other cover didn't work.
Now i cut up a terry towel and put it over the foam.. I wear bike gloves that are padded.
hands are so sensitive . To make a sharp turn with my hands on the wheel i add my knee to help.
knee also to make the turn. I am out of ideas and noone knows. Sure appreciate it ito get some input.
